NGM introduces three new motorcycles from Hero
Nepal general Marketing (NGM), authorised distributor of Hero motorcycles, on Saturday introduced three new models.According to the company, the Splendor iSmart comes with the revolutionary i3S technology (Idle Stop and Start System). i3S is a green technology that automatically shuts the engine when idling and turns it on, when needed, with a simple press of the clutch, giving more mileage in congested cities.
The Splendor iSmart comes with a 100-cc air-cooled, 4 Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine that delivers maximum power of 7.8 Ps at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque of 0.82 Kg-m at 4500 rpm. The company has stated that it is elegantly designed for universal appeal. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 151,000.
The all-new Xtreme has been mated with electronic engine immobiliser that prevents the engine from running without the correct key. The Xtreme comes with a 150-cc air-cooled, 4 Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine that delivers maximum power of 14.4 Ps at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 12.80 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
Another key introduction that will offer utmost safety to the premium segment Hero commuters is the Side Stand Switch with automatic ignition cut-off. All this comes with host of stylish exterior features that include trendy console and engine immobilizer, stylish headlight with high-brow light guides, stunning LED tail light with light guides, chunky fuel tank among others. The new Xtreme will also be equipped with a mobile charger socket proving greater utility to the rider. The Xtreme has been priced at Rs 213,500.
Likewise, the new Pleasure comes with the Integrated Braking System (IBS). The IBS improves rider’s safety and provides comfort of single-brake-lever for both front and rear wheels, thus providing better control and safety while applying brakes. The Pleasure comes with a 100-cc air-cooled, 4 Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine that delivers maximum power of 5.03 kW at 7,000 rpm and maximum torque of 7.85 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The Pleasure will be available at Rs. 151,500.
