The Federation of Nepali Journalists is set to establish a media museum to be named after the late journalist Krishnasen Icchuk. The museum will chronicle the history of Nepali journalism and will be built in Ghorahi, Dang— the home town of Icchuk. The FNJ Province 5, with the support of the provincial government, will be working to set up the museum. Chief Minister of Province 5 Shanker Pokharel has pledged to provide the necessary support in establishing the museum. The FNJ will begin the required process for the museum’s construction following a field study, said FNJ President Govinda Acharya. The museum will also include a memorial park, a statue and a media building with a training centre, hostel and reference materials. (RSS)
