Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that people need not be concerned over the issue of Dr Govinda KC.
Talking to reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport upon returning home after attending the annual meeting of World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Saturday Oli said, “Whatever concerns you all have been raising (about Dr KC) are not necessary,” he said, adding that many people in the country of 30 million are ‘dissatisfied’ with the way things work.
After the House of Representatives forcibly endorsed the Medical Education Bill on Friday, KC has been demanding the prime minister submit his resignation for being unable to meet his promises.
