The Department of Mines and Geology has started a geological mapping of four districts that are prone to earthquakes. The districts where the mapping has taken place are Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun and Chitwan. “A geological study is being carried out in the districts. Factors like what kind of structures could be constructed and potentialities available for mines could be identified with the study,” said the Department’s Spokesperson Krishna Dev Jha. (RSS)
