A woman was killed in a wild elephant’s attack  at Kanchanrup Municipality-11 in Saptari district on Saturday. Police said 73-year old Kaushalya Devi Mandal was killed by the elephant that had strayed into the village. In a separate incident, a leopard was found dead at Chamekunda in Shikhar Municipality, 10 in Doti. The 15-month-old leopard was reportedly shot dead by poachers. (RSS)
