Police launch drive against cyber crime
The District Police Office has started a campaign in Baitadi against increasing cases of cyber crime. Police are running classes for students at 24 secondary schools while plans are afoot to hold classes at all the schools in the district.bookmark

The District Police Office has started a campaign in Baitadi against increasing cases of cyber crime. Police are running classes for students at 24 secondary schools while plans are afoot to hold classes at all the schools in the district. Inspector Gindra Bogati said they have been holding classes at schools on cyber crime as part of the Police-Community Partnership Programme. Police have also been conducting public awareness sessions on various topics. According to police, the programme was conducted at schools as students are a good medium to spread information in society. The topics of discussion include cyber crime and its impact, secured use of social sites and influence of narcotic drugs.
