Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun is leading a Nepali delegation to China on Wednesday to participate in the 17th Western China International Fair in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. Pun will be accompanied by his spouse Hastmali Pun, his advisor Jivan Acharya, his office secretary Ram Kumar Acharya, Nepali Ambassador to China Leela Mani Poudel, and senior officials of the Foreing Ministry.

During the visit, the Vice President is scheduled to address the opening ceremony of the fair on Thursday and also deliver a keynote speech at the Belt and Road Cooperation Development Conference later in the day, according to the Foreign Ministry said.

Vice President Pun will also meet the senior Chinese leaders in Chengdu. He is also scheduled to visit Yibincity and Lizhuang Ancient Town of the province. He will return on September 24. (pr)
