Ex-lawmaker, singer Pakhrin passes away
Former Member of Parliament and singer Khusiram Pakhrin, who was at an election meeting organised by the left alliance in Chitwan, passed away after suffering from heart attack during the programme on Tuesday.

Pakhrin passed away while being rushed to the Narayan Community Hospital after he complained of ill-health during the election meet being held at Chitwan’s central bus park premises, informed CPN (MC) Chitwan in-charge Ishwari Bhattarai. Hospital sources said that Pakhrin passed away due to heart attack.
Pakhrin had performed a song at the programme. Pakhrin’s song “Bhoka Naangaa Naniharu” was a popular song during the armed conflict period led by Maoists.
Pakhrin was actively involved in creating awareness in public through his songs since 2038 BS. He had also lost his son during the insurgency period.
