Department of Transport Management has suspended Mechi Transport Office’s account officer Bhagwan Bhattarai for two months on the charge of his involvement in financial irregularity of Rs 9.2 million.

DoTM Director General Rup Naryan Bhattarai said that Bhattarai was found guilty of not depositing Rs 9.2 million in bank during the end of Fiscal Year 2016/17.

He further said that documents have been forwarded to Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) to investigate the case.
