A motorcyclist was killed after getting struck by a tipper in Kapilvastu on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as 38 – year – old Bhakti Chaudhary of Govardiya – 8 of Dang. The west – bound tipper (Lu 2 Kha 1131) rammed the ill-fated bike (Lu 20 Pa 8606) coming from the opposite direction at Badahara area of Budhibhumi municipality – 2 along the East – West highway.

Chaudhary died in course of treatment at the Lumbini Zonal Hospital in the evening, said Sub Inspector, Thaman Khatri, of Area Police Office, Gorusinghe. Police have taken under control the tipper driver and impounded the vehicle. RSS
