A missing person from Sundarijal of Gokarneshwor municipality has been found dead in a river in Nuwakot on Thursday night.
40-year-old Rajaman Tamang went missing 10 days ago. His body was found along the bank of the Likhu river at Likhu area of Shivapuri rural municipality, said Inspector, Kailash Kumar Bhattarai, of District Police Office, Nuwakot.
His identity was ascertained after his nephew Dawa Tamang gave confirmation to the police.
As Tamang's body did not have any scars or bruises police raised the suspicion that he could have been swept away by the river leading to his death. His body was sent to the Trishuli District Hospital for an autopsy this morning. RSS
