‘Swine flu kills one, 42 sick’
A person has died of swine flue (Influenza ‘A’ H1N1) and 42 others are said to have contracted the disease in Gurbhakot Municipality-9, Surkhet.

A person has died of swine flue (Influenza ‘A’ H1N1) and 42 others are said to have contracted the disease in Gurbhakot Municipality-9, Surkhet.
According to the District Health Office (DHO),
58-year-old Nandalal Dangi, died while undergoing treatment in Lucknow, India, a few days ago while swine flu-like symptoms have been diagnosed in many villagers of late.
Kiran Oli, chief of Sahare Health Post, said a villager believed to be suffering from the disease is undergoing treatment at Sukraraj Tropical Hospital in Kathmandu.
Basantaman Shrestha, the DHO information officer, said health workers were mobilised to the affected areas after the swine flu-like disease was reported.
