Lamjung
A human skeleton was found inside a cave in Nayeche Village of Lamjung district on Friday.
According to Inspector Buddhi Sagar Puri, two bones and a Chinese cigarette were recovered from the cave.
“The bones are not of other animals. It is a human skeleton,” he claimed.
“We got a phone call early morning today,” he said, adding, “Assistant Sub-Inspector Geet Bahadur Thapa of Bahundanda reached the incident site first. Later, other police personnel reached the site for further investigation.”
Inspector Puri said that the police will indirectly keep an eye at the incident site for some time.
If anybody claimed the skeleton, it will be sent for the DNA test, he said.
