Security personnel have rescued alive the three people who were trapped after a tractor overturned in Thulibheri River in Dolpa district.

According to police, a tractor (Ra 1 Ta 7481) carrying stones had overturned in the river at Thulibheri Municipality-3 Lamalote when it was trying to cross the river on Monday evening. Security personnel from Nepal Army and Nepal Police rushed to the site after learning that the tractor overturned and three people went missing.

Tractor driver Kanar Bahadur BK, 21, of Syalapakha Rural Municipality-4, Rukum district, and Tikaram BC, 17, of Kuma Rural Municipality-4, Salyan district, and Janak BC, 53, were rescued, District Police Office Dolpa informed.
