Post scribe Lal Prasad Sharma has been conferred with Captain Rudraman Gurung Memorial Rural Journalism Award in recognition of his contribution to the promotion of rural tourism through journalism.

Coordinator of the District Coordination Committee of Kaski Bain Bahadur Adhikari honoured journalist Sharma amidst a function organised in Pokhara on Sunday. The award has a purse of Rs 11,111 and a appreciation letter.
