Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Wednesday nominated another five lawmakers to their Parliamentary Party Working Committee.
Dirgha Raj Bhat of Kailali, Taraman Gurung of Sankhuwasabha, Sanjaya Kumar Gautam of Bardiya, Kanchan Chandra Wade of Kavrepalanchowk and Chandradevi Joshi of Bajang have been inducted into the committee, Deuba’s private secretariat said in a statement on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, Deuba had nominated Minakshi Jha of Dhanusha, Dhurba Wagle of Tanahun, Bishnu Maya Pariyar of Chitwan and ChampadeviKhadka of Baglung into the committee. The party statute mandates the party president to nominate nine members, including three females.
