A Nepali woman migrant worker, who was held captive by her Saudi Arabian employer, has been rescued and sent back to home.
Nirmala Pariyar, 31, of Kachali in Palpa, who had gone Saudi Arabia for domestic help five year ago, has been sent to home. An organization Nepali Janapragatishil Morcha with the coordination of Nepali Embassy rescued her from a house of a Saudi Arabian national on January 29 and returned her home on Monday.
Morcha Vice-President Man Bahadur Sahakari said they were able to rescue her after five months effort. Information about her confinement was provided by Pariyar's sister, who is living in Kuwait.
Pariyar had received mental and physical tortures and was denied salary during her stay in Saudi Arabia. RSS
