The party has demanded an independent investigation into the incident and action against guilty during the meeting of Legislature-Parliament on Thursday. Party chief whip Dilnath Giri warned of obstructing the parliament if their demands were not met.
The House session was postponed after Chairman Subas Nembang summoned Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam to come up with reply on the incident in next session. The next meeting is slated for July 26.
