Khadka-led Sanatan Hindu Nation Campaign organised a rally from Maitighar to New Baneshwor and submitted the memorandum questioning ‘why the world secularism that was not even raised during the People’s Movement II included in the draft?’
The campaign expressed its reservations for not including the multi-party parliamentary system as unamendable provision while including the provision that promotes religious conversion. It has also taken exception for not mentioning the term ‘pluralism’ on the preamble.
The memorandum was read out at the CA meeting.
