Nat'l team for World Cup qualifiers announced
All Nepal Football Association (Anfa) on Friday announced a 24-member national squad for the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers to be played against India.Ekantipur Report
The team includes seven players from Three Star Club, four each from Nepal Police Club and Manang Marsyangdi Club, three from Nepal Army Club and two each from Far Western Football Club and Armed Police Force club.
Influential forwards Karna Limbu of Jhapa XI and Nawayug Shrestha of Nepal Army Club were axed from the squad.
Nepal will play the first leg of the qualifiers on March 12 at Guwahati, India, while the return leg will be played on March 17 at Dasharath Stadium.
