A man has been drowned to death in a drain at Bharatpur Municipality in Chitwan district on Friday morning.

The man of aged around 45 years was found dead at the drain, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.

Police suspected that he might have fallen into the drain following excessive consumption of liquor.

The body has been taken to the Bharatpur Hospital for postmortem.

Police said that the deceased was living by begging at Bharatpur area for the last few days. RSS
