APF constable dies as bus hits motorcycle in Kirtipur

A constable of the Armed Police Force died in a road accident in Kirtipur on the southwestern rim of Kathmandu.
According to police, the constable deployed at APF headquarters died when a motorcycle he was riding was hit by a school bus of Modern Indian School at Kirtipur-6, Chobhar Gate on Sunday morning.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Balkhu-based Vayodha Hospital, said Superintendent of Police Dinesh Raj Mainali, also the spokesperson of the Kathmandu District Police Range.
The constable was a permanent resident of Jayaprithvi Municipality -5, Kotali of Bajhang district.
Police said they have started an investigation after detaining the bus driver.
