Four people were killed and 25 others injured when a bus en route to Surkhet from Dailekh met with an accident at Ranimatta, Surkhet, on Friday afternoon.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Bir Bishwakarma of the District Police Office, Surkhet, said rescue operations are underway.

The injured have been taken to the Provincial Hospital in Birendranagar for treatment.

The deceased are yet to be identified, police said.

Details are awaited.
