One dead, six others injured in Jajarkot flood

A man died after being swept away by the flood in Kushe Rural Municipality-1 of Jajarkot district at 11pm on Saturday.
According to Deputy Superintendent Purushottam Prasad Pandey, Chief Police Officer of Jajarkot District Police Office, the 38-year-old man from Kushe Rural Municipality-9 died after he was caught in a sudden flood while fishing. Six people who were with him at the fishing area were rescued, said Pandey.
Three of them sustained minor injuries and returned home after receiving treatment, while the other three have been taken to Nepalgunj for further treatment, officials said.
