Nepal logs 15 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Thursday reported 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,693.
Similarly, three people tested positive in a total of 1,464 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,605,701 PCR and 1,154,756 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,083 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,456 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 32 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 298.
Kathmandu Valley recorded eight new infections in the last 24 hours. Of them, six were confirmed in Kathmandu and two were from Lalitpur.
In the past 24 hours, eight new infections were recorded in Bagmati, two in Sudurpaschim and one each in Province 1 and Karnali.
Nepal on Wednesday reported nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 10 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Tuesday and nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday.
