Nepal logs 13 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,424 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 318.Post Report
Nepal on Wednesday reported nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,693.
Similarly, four person tested positive in a total of 1,349 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Wednesday, 5,605,701 PCR and 1,154,756 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,528 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,424 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 25 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 318.
Kathmandu Valley recorded six new infections in the last 24 hours. Of them, three each were confirmed in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
In the past 24 hours, seven new infections were recorded in Bagmati, one in Lumbini and one in Sudurpaschim.
On Wednesday, one individual infected with the virus was being treated in intensive care units across the country.
Nepal on Tuesday reported 10 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday and 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday.
