A four-year-old boy died after falling off the rooftop of a three-storey house in Besisahar Municipality-8.

According to police, he was playing on the roof when he fell onto the street, sustaining critical injuries. He was initially taken to a local hospital but later referred to Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur, where he died during treatment at around 10pm on Thursday.

The child, a New Era Boarding School student, lived with his mother and grandmother. His father and grandfather are working abroad.
