Takpa Gallery to unveil multidisciplinary exhibition
‘Birdsong for the Confined’ by Shailee Bajracharya explores introspection, confinement and the transformative power of art.Post Report
Takpa Gallery is set to unveil its upcoming exhibition, ‘Birdsong for the Confined’, featuring a multidisciplinary collection by emerging artist Shailee Bajracharya. The exhibit will lead visitors through a personal yet relatable journey of escapism, introspection, and the rediscovery of grounding.
Opening on Saturday, November 22, the showcase will include paintings, ceramics, poetry, photographs and videos, all reflecting the artist’s shifting understanding of confinement and liberation.
Bajracharya’s process stems from her experience with maladaptive daydreaming—a state of drifting away from the present world—which gradually transformed into a source of clarity, creativity, and personal growth.
By combining diverse media, Bajracharya presents vulnerability not as a weakness, but as a doorway to self-acceptance and resilience.
‘Birdsong for the Confined’ is anticipated to stand as a celebration of freedom found within introspection and the transcendent possibilities of art.
