Insightful, presentable, confident, positive attitude and good sense of humour.
Are you a talker or a listener?
I am a listener. I love listening to others and their perspectives. I open up to somebody only once I am close enough to share my views. I believe that you should only talk about something once you also have knowledge about it.
Name two personal habits that have helped you grow in life
Taking risks and having a positive attitude. Until you take risks you won’t know the potential you possess. It is important to have a positive outlook in life and know that whatever happens, happens for a reason.
What’s something horrible that we as humans have accepted?
Gender discrimination at every level and in everything we do, ranging from the belief that women cannot lift heavy weights to how women should not be allowed to travel alone at night.
What part of your culture are you most and least proud of?
I love the cultural attire Haku Patasi, Newari food, and traditional craftsmanship. I do not like the coming-of-age tradition Bara where a girl is placed inside a dark, sunless room for 12 days. I don’t think it is necessary.
If you were judging this pageant, what characteristics would you look for when choosing the winner?
Focused, dedicated, self-aware, and optimistic—in short, ‘beauty with purpose’.
If a genie in a bottle could grant you any wish, what would it be?
I would wish for happiness. I would wish for the strength to be happy in any situation/circumstance that I face in my life.
Would you rather run a business and contribute to the economy or run the country altogether?
I would rather run a business; inspire people to create a better world than run the country altogether.
Do you believe in gut feelings? Any instance, as such?
Yes, I believe in gut feelings. There are many instances where I listened to my heart and was satisfied. There were also few instances, which I ignored and then regretted later.
What’s the best thing about being a woman?
That power to create and nurture creation with tolerance, love and compassion is the best thing about being a woman.
If you were judging this pageant, what characteristics would you look for when choosing the winner?
Confident, intellectual, beautiful, humble and mature.
Would you rather run a business and contribute to the economy or run the country altogether?
I believe that doing something in one field perfectly is better than doing many things at once. So, I would rather run a business and contribute to the economy.
Are you a team person or a lone wolf?
I am a team person. I love to interact, share feelings, ideas, and work with a team rather than alone.
What random stranger has had the biggest impact on your life?
There was a boy back in school who had lost his parents and had a difficult life. However, he went on to become first in a board exam. He has had an impact on me because after that I believed nothing is impossible.
What’s something horrible that we as humans have accepted, because that’s just how things are?
The fact that we aren’t able to survive without using internet for even an hour is something horrible we humans have accepted. It doesn’t have to be that way as staying away from the internet and using it in minimum doses can be advantageous to our wellbeing.
If you were judging this pageant, what characteristics would you look for when choosing the winner?
A positive and non-judgmental attitude, good moral values, good leadership skills, and charismatic personality.
Would you rather run a business and contribute to the economy or run the country altogether?
As I am running a business in my city; I am already contributing to the economy of my country. I am a good leader, so if I get the opportunity to run the country altogether, I will step ahead.
Are you a team person or a lone wolf?
I am come from a joint family and I work in an organisation. Personally or professionally, I am always in a team, so I am more comfortable and confident as a team person.
Are you a talker or a listener?
I have both organs to speak and to listen. Hence, I am both. But for the most part I am a listener because the more you listen, the more you will learn.
What’s something horrible that we as humans have accepted, because that’s just how things are?
The fear of death, and the fear of leaving our loved ones.
