The Mithila Yain Art Gallery in Thamel is currently hosting an art exhibition featuring works that essay the life and time of the Hindu god Lord Krishna. The joint exhibition, Krishna Leela International Art Fair, has on display works by a total of 26 artists from five countries.
The exhibition has on display works by artists such as Kiran Manandhar, Uma Shankar Shah, Seema Sharma Shah, Radheshyam Mulmi, KK Karmacharya, and Ramesh Khanal, among others, that evoke the various aspects of Krishna’s life and the storied myths attached to the deity.
Similarly, featured in the exhibit are international artists such as Nargis Parveen, Prakash B, Bishwa Jeet Dutta, Babita Shah, and Ranjit Jha, among others.
The show will run till March 27.
