Nepathya in Australia
Nepathya are now Down Under.The series of concerts is expected to see a large population of the Nepali diaspora as well as students currently residing in Australia.
“When Nepathya were here last time, they performed a sold-out show at the historic Sydney Town Hall. This time, the venues will be even bigger,” said Hari Ramjali of the Sydney-based Myagdi Sewa Samiti, the coordinators of the tour. Big Top in Luna Park, Sydney, is one of the venues where the band will be performing.
“We are confident that the auditorium (Big Top), with a capacity of 2,800 , will be packed,” added Ramjali.
“Nepalis in Australia have always made us feel at home. We are back again and hope to share memories of our homeland,” said Nepathya front-man, Amrit Gurung. According to him, the band plan to surprise the audience by performing some songs from their upcoming album.
The band will arrive back in Kathmandu on April 28.
