Two more days of blues
The final two days of the Himalayan Blues Festival will feature a huge get-together on Friday and a split-event on Saturday.This Friday, the second day of the Himalayan Blues Festival, a big concert will be hosted at 1905, Kantipath. The event will feature blues musicians from Nepal and across the globe. On stage will be the following acts: Kniki and Mike Beale Project (Australia); Mukti and Revival (Nepal); Mr No Money Blues Band (Italy); Lloyd Williams (UK); Chris Sutton (USA) and
The Midnight Riders (Nepal). The individual performances will be followed by a joint jam session. The event starts at 6:30 pm and tickets will go for Rs 999.
On Saturday, the last day of the festival, the musicians will perform at two venues: Trisara, in Lazimpat; and Manny’s Eatery and Tapas Bar, Jhamsikhel. Tickets to these events cost Rs 500 each. The Trisara gig will start at 7 pm, and the one at Manny’s Eatery will start at 6 pm. Tickets are available at the venues.
