Annapurna Art opens in Bhaktapur with ‘Assemblage: Shared Narratives’

Annapurna Art has opened in Radhe Radhe, Bhaktapur, with a group exhibition titled ‘Assemblage: Shared Narratives’. The exhibition runs from February 7 to March 6 and explores the coexistence of the sacred and the contemporary.
‘Assemblage: Shared Narratives’ brings together nineteen contemporary Nepali artists whose works reflect lived experiences, collective memory and evolving cultural identities. The participating artists are Ajesh Chitrakar, Avinash Vishvakarma, Ajesh Tuchhen, Bidhyaman Tamang, Bidhata KC, Bijaya Maharjan, Erina Tamrakar, Kapil Mani Dixit, Krishna Lama, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Manu Chaudhary, Mukesh Shrestha, Mukta Rani Singh, Meena Kayastha, Rojan Shrestha, Roshan Bhandari, Saugat Shrestha, Sumitra Bara and Vijay Thapa.
Curated by Roshan Bhandari, the exhibit brings together diverse media and artistic perspectives in conversation. The works explore heritage, spirituality and tradition, while also engaging with environmental concerns, personal stories and social change—reflecting Nepal’s layered history and evolving contemporary art scene.
The exhibition is free to visit.
