Writer Ranju Dahal unveiled her book ‘Dohodoho Dolpo’ at Shilpee Theatre in Battisputali, Kathmandu, on Friday.
This is the second book written by Dahal, who is a teacher by profession. Her first book, ‘Priyasangako Yatra’ was released five years ago.
The author wrote ‘Dohodoho Dolpo’ after a 10-day long trip to Dolpa, the largest district in Nepal. The book is a collection of 10 essays, all of which are based on the district. Dahal paints Dolpa as an open university in the book, describing its beauty and the issues it faces due to its topography.
Gazal artist Babu Tripathi, literature critics Rajkumar Baniya and Gyanu Adhikari, and writer Bhuwan Hari Sigdel were present at the book launch.
