The Face Volume IV

The ‘The Face Volume IV’ modelling competition's audition round is happening on Saturday. The contest also features a 25-day training programme where participants will be trained by professionals. The required age range is 16 to 32.

Curator’s Talk: The Liverpool Biennial Experience
Sangeeta Thapa and Shivangi Bansal will talk about their experience attending UK’s largest festival of contemporary visual art as part of the curator’s week programme this Tuesday. Sangeeta Thapa is the director of Siddhartha Art Gallery, and Shivangi Bansal is the founder of Danfe Arts.

Emerald Reveries Exhibition

‘Emerald Reveries’ by Binod Limbu feature a series of paintings that celebrate the soothing emerald hues of nature. The funky artworks also capture the essence of existence within time and space. Support the up-and-coming artist by visiting the exhibition, where the prices for artworks range from Rs8,000 to Rs18,000 with special offers for set purchases.

Cobweb Live

Cobweb is performing live on September 8 at Club Fahrenheit. The event will begin with a live performance by the band Aawartan. Following that, attendees can also enjoy music by DJs Kabin, Loop, David Roshan, Jyafu, and Rek.

Mananka Sanibar Bazaar

Three by Four is hosting a Sanibar Bazaar (Saturday market) with live music and stalls with calligraphy, Nepali folk and traditional instruments and local products like candles, handmade jewellery, Newa sweets and vegan foods.

5th BICON Conference
Biennial International Conference on Alternative Care for Children in Asia (BICON) is taking place in Kathmandu on September 6 and 7. The 5th edition of the event will be hosted both in person and online, with practitioners, government representatives, academics, and youths discussing challenges and best practices, and emerging trends in alternative care reform and children’s rights in Asia.
