E-Arts Nepal is organising its annual Himalayan Art Festival at the Nepal Art Council. Works of around 80 artists are showcased at the event and the curator, Pratima Thakali, will give a guided tour at 2:00 pm. Additionally, the organisers are hosting a panel discussion on Sunday and handing out the Prashanta Scholarship Award on Monday.

Fun with Faces: A caricature drawing workshop
Tumbahalaya is collaborating with Sarin Bajracharya, who’s been doing live caricature drawings at various events, for ‘Fun with Faces: A caricature drawing workshop’. This workshop is aimed at people who are interested in drawing or wish to hone their skills when it comes to caricature.

DaFlea Carnival
DaFlea is holding a carnival with a market, live music, games, pottery, tarot reading and influencers meet at Times Square Restaurant, Baluwatar. Aakash Khadka is performing as the main act, and the afterparty is being held at Plan B Thamel.

PG’s Popup
PG’s Popup is an evening market and cocktail party hosted by Bhet Ghat, Khalti, and Pauline’s Garden. Attendees can expect to find over 15 vendor booths at the market, followed by a cocktail party featuring drinks made by mixologist Saurav Karki.

A Way of Telling Exhibition
The exhibition showcases the works of six emerging photographers: Amit Machamasi, Aseem Banstola, Denis Maharjan, Nisha Khaling Rai, Nistha Thapa Shrestha, and Sundup Dorje Lama, who participated in the 2023 International Storytelling Workshop. Their visual narratives delve into themes ranging from resistance in Nepal’s far west to evolving urban landscapes, nature, gender roles, fatherhood, and daily life in the midhills of Nepal.
