Chautari Youth Club workshop on mental health
The workshop will teach participants how to use the internet safely.Post Report
Chautari Youth Club (CYC), one of the projects of Umbrella Organisation Nepal, is organising a workshop on mental health with the theme of internet safety.
The workshop comes at a time when internet has become an integral part of our daily lives, with many spending hours using it to consume all kinds of content. The workshop will help the participants learn how to use the internet safely and handle problems that arise online.
In the past, CYC has organised workshops on various themes such as consent, time management, peer pressure, and other relevant topics for youth.
“Whenever we conduct workshops, we get more participants that we can take,” says Subhakama Bhatta, assistant youth officer at CYC. “To ensure as many participants get the opportunity to participate in the workshops, we organise multiple workshops on the same theme.”
CYC provides the workshops free of cost to all the eligible participants, i.e. people between the ages of 16 and 25.
After completing the workshop, participants will also receive a certificate and refreshments. Those interested can book their slot by filling out the form online on CYC’s Facebook page.
