The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds, with partly cloudy conditions in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country remains clear. Some areas of the central and eastern Tarai are covered in fog.

During the day, Koshi and Gandaki provinces' hilly areas are expected to remain partly cloudy, with the possibility of light snowfall in a few locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions.

Tonight, partly cloudy conditions will persist in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country will have clear weather.

Over the next 24 hours, light snowfall is expected in some high-altitude areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. The division has also forecast fog in parts of the Tarai on Friday morning, advising caution as it may affect daily life, health, road transport, and aviation.
