The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported the influence of westerly winds over Nepal, causing widespread fog in the plains. Currently, partial to moderate cloud cover persists over the high hills of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

This afternoon, partial clouds are expected in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim, while clear weather is likely elsewhere. Similar conditions are predicted tonight.

On Saturday morning, dense fog may blanket many areas of the plains and Kathmandu Valley. Authorities have urged caution as the fog could disrupt daily life, impact health, and affect transportation and flights.
