Located at Madhyapur Thimi in Bhaktapur, Thimi Ceramics carries forward an ancestral pottery tradition with a modern vision. Led by Laxmi Kumar Prajapati and his elder brother Santa, the workshop has been producing earthenware since 1985 and is the first in Nepal to manufacture stoneware ceramics, fired at the highest temperatures for strength and quality.Crafted from carefully selected natural clay, Thimi Ceramics creates simple, useful, and health-safe products used everywhere from home kitchens to five-star hotels. For Prajapati, pottery is more than a profession—it is a way of life.
