Nepal Oil Corporation has hiked the prices of petroleum products. The revised rates came into effect on Monday midnight.
The state-owned monopoly has decided to increase the prices by Re1 per litre of petrol, diesel and kerosene while cooking gas has been costlier by Rs25 per cylinder.
The corporation has increased aviation fuel prices sold to domestic and international airlines by Rs3 per litre and $50 per kilolitre, respectively.
Petrol now costs Rs102 a litre while diesel and kerosene each will be charged Rs79 per litre. A cylinder of cooking gas will now cost Rs1,375.
