The health condition of Dr Govinda KC whose fast-unto-death entered 22nd day on Monday is steadily deteriorating. 

According to health bulletin released by the health team of Dr KC, he has been complaining of chest discomfort and frequent muscle cramps, continuous light headedness and abdominal discomfort.

"His blood pressure and oxygen saturation are in lower range requiring continuous oxygen supplementation. His blood sugar is persistently below normal range. His total WBC [white blood cells] count is persistently low," the bulletin reads. "In view of above conditions, as the starvation lengthens, the probability of undue complications increase. He is more prone to have organ and life threatening infection as well as sudden cardiac events and may need emergency medical interventions at any point of time."   

Doctors also said that Dr KC is in risk of developing debilitating conditions in his body due to repeated fast.

Meanwhile, with no breakthrough in the talks with the government, Dr KC's fast is going to be the longest one so far on Tuesday. 

It was during his 10th fast in December 2016 that Dr KC had broke his fast on the 22nd day.
