CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Naya Shakti Nepal Chairman Baburam Bhattarai held discussion on contemporary political issues on Saturday.

Dahal had reached at Bhattarai's residence in Tokha this afternoon. Bhattarai is recuperating following a prostate operation.

Dahal's personal website cmprachanda.com stated the two leaders also discussed party unification. Dahal, during the two-hour discussion, urged Bhattarai to think about unification. Dahal pointed on the need of unification between the two parties taking in consideration about the current political situation of the country.

Bhattarai responded to continue discussions and reach a conclusion only after analyzing the unification issue.
