Minister Sharma said the government has decided to launch the campaign to curb the increasing criminal activities and crime syndicate in the Capital of late. He added that police would be equipped with technology for the same.
“Kathmandu valley will be safe now,” he said, adding, “None of the criminals will be able to escape. We will crack down on gangsters and ensure law and order situation.”
Likewise, Minister Sharma said Kathmandu and Pokhara city will be opened for 24 hours. He opined that the cities that are important in terms tourism should be kept open round the clock as tourism is the backbone of the country’s economy.
“From now on there won’t be any obstruction to run night businesses in these towns. The market will be allowed to remain open for 24 hours,” said the Home Minister.
