One dead in Darchula jeep crash
Police say they are investigating cause of accident.

One person was killed when a jeep met with an accident in Danikhet of ward 3 in Marma Rural Municipality on Friday morning.
The jeep was heading from Latinath to Sarsi when it crashed, said ward chair Dhirendra Dhami. The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Karbir Singh Thagunna of Marma.
Police said Thagunna was found unconscious on the middle seat of the vehicle and died on the way to a nearby health post after being rescued.
The driver has not been identified, and police said an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
