Police Head Constable Lokendra Bahadur Khadayat, stationed at a police post in Dilasaini Rural Municipality-3, died after falling off a cliff in Darchula.

According to Baitadi police spokesperson Balram Pandey, Khadayat sustained serious injuries after falling from a cliff in ward 1 of Shailyashikhar Municipality on Wednesday. He was rushed to Gokuleshwar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The District Police Office, Darchula, said Khadayat fell while returning to his office in the evening. A police team has been deployed to the site, and an investigation is underway. His body has been kept at the hospital.
