A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his 35-year-old brother, Lal Bahadur Bohara, with scissors during a dispute on Saturday night.
The accused, Prakash Bohara, allegedly attacked his elder brother in a heated argument at their residence in Dipnagar Tole, ward 17 of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City.
Lal Bahadur sustained severe neck injuries and was immediately rushed to Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi.
According to Police Inspector Darshan Khadka, assistant spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kailali, the victim succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.
Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
