Due to sizzling heat Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City in Kailali district has decided to close educational institutions for three days starting from Wednesday.
Issuing a notice on Tuesday, the sub-metropolis instructed all educational institutions to suspend classes from Wednesday to Friday.
The sub-metropolis closed the educational institutions for a week three weeks ago.
According to the Attariya field office of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, on May 30, Dhangadhi recorded 44.1 degrees Celsius, which is the highest temperature for the area in 29 years.
