Security personnel arrested a youth from Jhulaghat area in Baitadi district in possession of brown sugar on Saturday evening.
According to the District Police Office in Baitadi, Birendra Rawal was held with 200 milligrams of the contraband drug.
A joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force detained the suspect while he was entering Nepal from India. The district court remanded Rawal in custody for investigation.
