The CPN-UML has recommended names for the upcoming by-election to elect province assembly member from Bajhang (A).

The UML district committee recommended Daman Bhandari, Juna Jagri and Radha Bista for the party’s candidate in the by-election scheduled for April 27.

The seat remains vacant after Prithvi Bahadur Singh, a provincial assembly member and also the provincial minister for internal affairs and law, was killed in a road accident in June. Singh was elected from the Nepali Congress.
